NHS AfC Sick Pay Policy
Year 1: 1 month full + 2 months half pay.
Year 2: 2 months full + 2 months half pay.
Year 3: 4 months full + 4 months half pay.
Years 4-5: 5 months full + 5 months half pay.
Year 5+: 6 months full + 6 months half pay (maximum).
Mark sick days using the Sick button on the Shift tab.

SWASFT Overtime Rules:
• OT is paid at x1.5 of basic hourly rate
• OT is a flat multiplier on top of basic — no unsocial top-up comparison
• OT in following month's wage

📋 Where to find your GRS hours:
Log into ESR (Employee Self-Service) → My Employment → Working Pattern. Your GRS is the number of hours SWAST expects you to work this month on your relief pattern. Ask your manager or check your monthly roster if unsure.
➕ Credit (+) = hours owed to you — you worked more than your GRS this month ➖ Debit (−) = hours you owe SWAST — you worked fewer than your GRS
Actual hours are calculated automatically from your logged shifts. They include overrun minutes but not OT hours (those are paid separately and don't count toward your GRS balance).
